Our tour guide Mario was so passionate, proud of his country and extremely knowledgeable. The tour through the small town of Alta was wonderful. We sampled some divine honey, jams and firewater made by the locals. There was never any pressure to purchase anything along the way either. The natural springs were unbelievable and would never have seen them had it not been for the Jeep tour.

We went on the sunset safari & it was amazing! It was exciting going up and down the mountains and the view of the sunset on the mountain was beautiful. Our guide was called Pedro and he was brilliant, very kind and great at his job. I can't wait to do it again sometime!

It started off slow just looking at trees and different fruits and I was starting to feel a bit negative. But as it went on it was really fun. The driver was good. Funny and knowledgable. We saw parts of Portugal you wouldn’t normally see. All in all a fun trip. The downside was the weather on the day but there’s nothing that could be done about that.

Organised through our travel company. Pick up was punctual and driver welcoming. We had six French and two English passengers on board. No language problem as Hugo (I think that was his name), switched between both fluently and easily. Fantastic drive off road...safety was paramount at all times but it was still exciting and so much fun. You are in very safe hands. We had a ball and would highly recommend. Hugo worked so hard to make the day work for everyone.
